Technology
xRead uses AI providers and scholarly services such as OpenAlex, and where configured Semantic Scholar and SerpAPI. The Microsoft Word add-in loads its task pane from xread.io and reads the active document only in Word. Text is sent to our API only when you invoke a feature, not silently in the background.
